The Western Queensland Primary Health Network (WQPHN) provides support to primary health practices and commissioned service providers throughout Western Queensland to achieve our vision: "A comprehensive integrated primary health care system that, delivers better health outcomes for the people of remote Western Queensland".

We are seeking expressions of Interest from experienced health project admin officers to support the team building primary health care practice capabilities for the communities of Western Queensland.

The position will ideally be based in our Mount Isa office, however other locations (e.g. Townsville) with travel and flexible working arrangements may be considered for the selected candidate.  Travel in western regions may be occasionally required to support program activities.

Duties and accountabilities include (summary):

  1. Support the Executive Manager and staff with efficient management of records, assets, preparation and editing of submissions and reports, distribution of materials and correspondence.
  2. Support the development of WQ Health Care Home program particularly the collateral and web site portal.
  3. Build and maintain regional electronic calendar for PCI team.
  4. Maintain stakeholder and other contact databases to ensure all information is current and up to date.
  5. Manage document libraries, collaboration and version control as per WQPHN policies using the Sharepoint intranet.
  6. Plan and coordinate travel logistics for Executive Manager, stakeholder meetings and events.
  7. Provide or arrange secretariat services as required for Clinical Chapter and other meetings.
  8. Work collaboratively with all staff, providing administrative support as required.
