Looking for a new opportunity close to home? We are currently looking for people with transport administration and customer service experience to join a well-established company based in Prestons.This fast paced working environment is an excellent opportunity for growth, and the ability to be part of a highly reputable company. Our client is seeking a diligent and enthusiastic administrator to assist with the effective production of an array of office based administrative duties on the afternoon shift working 10am - 6pm Mon - Fri.
Key Responsibilities may include:
- Updating customers regarding the status of their deliveries
- Answering and resolving customer queries and issues
- Data entry and processing
- Liaise with internal departments such as the Warehouse and Transport team
- Processing paperwork
- Input data onto Excel spreadsheets
To be successful you must possess the following:
- Strong customer focus
- Accuracy and high attention to detail
- Experience in the transport industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work well in small but fast paced team environment
- Proficiency in MS Office suites – Intermediate Excel skills
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to be proactive
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
