WBHO Infrastructure is the Australian business of one of South Africa's largest contractors. WBHO is undergoing significant expansion, and is currently involved in exciting projects across Australia, including project delivery and pre-contracts activity across multiple states.
The Project
In an Australian-first, the public-private partnership will also extend to road maintenance, ensuring more than 260kms of existing arterial road network in the western suburbs is maintained over the next two decades. The Western Roads Upgrade project will deliver a combination of road widening, duplication and intersection upgrades that will fix eight congested roads in Melbourne's Western suburbs
The Role
As part of administration team, you will be working closely with all project stakeholders to ensure efficient project document control.
Key Tasks
- Ability to write and implement processes and procedures to perform a controlled distribution of project documents in accordance with client requirements
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project specific document management systems as it relates to nominated projects
- Project set-up coordination, including supporting project team to establish document management workflows and application
- Quality Control; ensuring that document control activities are controlled, monitored and documented
- Trouble Shooting; communicating with client, site personnel and other parties in the resolution of problems escalated by project stakeholders
- Records Management for nominated projects, including archiving and record retention)
Requirements
- 4+ years experience in a document controller role within the construction environment
- Experience in the development of new processes and systems and/or transition into existing systems
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and use of TeamBinder
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with all project stakeholders
- Possess a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and work effectively in a busy working environment
