Receptionist / Administration Assistant

As the Receptionist / Administration Assistant, you will require strong computer and organizational skills. Your excellent communication skills will be highly regarded.

You will ensure the day to day operation of the Centre Management office, reception and administration. Your duties will include:

  • General receptionist duties on a daily basis
  • Meeting & greeting centre customers, tenants, contractors & guests
  • Answering & directing telephone calls
  • Maintaining the front office
  • Process payments for casual mall leases, cancel invoices, prepare banking
  • Balancing, daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations
  • Disburse petty cash and reconcile on a bi monthly basis, ensuring correct GL allocation and correct authorisation
  • Assisting Centre Manager with day to day administration with lease related and operations administration
  • Provide administration support to the other staff when required and undertake receptionist duties as required
  • Sales figures collect and collate
  • Distribute sales sheets to retailers each month
  • Customer Service - Centre customer, tenants, contractors and guests

Essential Skills/Knowledge Required for the position

  • High level of discretion, use of judgement and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Demonstrated skills in written/verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Well-presented
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Well-developed problem solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Clear and professional telephone manner
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email/internet competence.
