The Queensland Genomics Health Alliance
The Queensland Genomics Health Alliance is a $25 million, 5-year Advance Queensland initiative. Its focus is on health research implementation, and on accelerating the translation of medical genomics into standard of care, identifying the challenges and solutions, and evaluating the benefits for Queenslanders.
The Queensland Genomics Health Alliance is a collaboration that brings together Queensland Hospitals and Health Services with medical research institutes and universities to demonstrate the value of genomics in everyday healthcare, with the ultimate goal of improving the health of Queenslanders.
The University of Queensland has been chosen to host QGHA with the QGHA working collaboratively with all universities in the State, key Queensland-based research organisations, the Queensland Hospital and Health Services, private health providers and associated health organisation throughout the State.
The role
The successful appointee will fulfil a core function within the QGHA Business Team and broader QGHA Program by coordinating the activities within and between QGHA Projects and Program. The Program Coordinator is the central point of contact for funded projects and particpants as well as the key resource for coordinating QGHA project and program reporting functions to Queensland Health. The role will be empowered to enable collaboration between different organisations, projects and industries; driving the delivery of patient centred outcomes through effective and respectful relationships.
The person
Applicants should possess qualifications in relevant disciplines and/or extensive business management experience. You should also have a strong desire and demonstrated experience in supporting and implementing change within clinical practice and health care settings. Your interpersonal skills should be second to none with a passion for genuine interactions and personal integrity.

This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.

Remuneration
This is a full-time, fixed term appointment for three years at HEW Level 8. The remuneration package will be in the range $92,811 - $104,214 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17.5% (total package will be in the range $109,052 - $122,451 p.a.).
