About CPBJH JV
CPBJH JV brings together two of Australia's leading construction partners, CPB Contractors and John Holland, with unparalleled expertise in large-scale and complex project management, civil construction, traffic management and tunnelling.
The West Gate Tunnel is a partnership between the Victorian Government and Transurban. The Joint Venture has been chosen as the preferred contractor for construction, which will begin in 2018 following planning assessment.
About the Project
The West Gate Tunnel Project is a city-shaping project that will deliver a vital alternative to the West Gate Bridge, provide quicker and safer journeys, and remove thousands of trucks off residential streets. The project will include:
- Widening the West Gate Freeway from eight lanes to 12 between the M80 Ring Road and Williamstown Road;
- Building a 2.8km eastbound tunnel and a 4km westbound tunnel under Yarraville;
- Constructing a bridge over the Maribyrnong River providing an alternative to the West Gate Bridge;
- Constructing an elevated road along Footscray Road to the Port of Melbourne; and
- Major new cycling and pedestrian paths.
We are looking for energetic Administrators to join our West Gate Tunnel Project team in 2018. If you want to be a member of our team, and would like to commence engaging with us, this is your chance.
We are interested in hearing from Administrators with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Construction industry, HR background and or a similar role.

Typical skills and responsibilities

Record management that comply with project mobilisation system and HSE reporting requirements.

Manage and maintain HSE project data and records, ensuring that information is accurate, up-to-date, reported and stored

Experience in the HSE and project on-boarding requirements.

Experience with large volume recruitment – blue collar workers

Knowledge of industry tickets, licenses & qualifications

Manage matrices statistical analysis and project reporting functionality for learning & development and mobilisation.

Provide and update key mobilisation and safety training, onsite competency assessment and statistical attendance and update information.

Maintain training safety training calendar components in the mobilisation system

Communicate and liaise with the client, external, subcontractors, internal employees and contractors.

Provide basic support to project colleagues on CPBJH systems and programs

Input incident data and assist in the preparation of monthly reports.

Compliance with all relevant Legislation, and CPBJHJV Policies, Procedures and Practices as varied from time to time.
Qualifications
HR qualifications or system managment experience. Graduate qualifications are an advantage.
Experience
- A minimum of three years of experience in a similar role
- Construction and/or recruitment industry experience
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with accuracy and ability to prioritise
- Excellent data analysis, reporting and spread sheeting skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office especially excel
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
