Lindsay Transport is one of the largest transporters of fresh produce and refrigerated freight in Australia and specialise in temperature sensitive, time-slotted freight into Central Markets and major Grocery Distribution Centres. We operate a network of freight terminals with significant cold room facilities across the East Coast of Australia and employ a staff of approximately 1100 workers.

Lindsay Transport is currently seeking an experienced Transport Administrator to join the team based in our Melbourne Depot.  

Duties and responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to:

• Afternoon shifts 
• Manifesting consignments for direct and port to port loads
• The facilitation and management of customer orders and jobs received
• Liaising with operational staff to ensure all customer requirements are met.
• Managing freight bookings and time slot requests
• Debriefing driver paperwork
• Assisting with depot pallet control
• Ad hoc administrative duties as directed by the Depot Manager

• Positive attitude with the willingness to learn
• Superior planning and organisational skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work on a weekend rotation
• A genuine care factor for the needs of the internal and external customer
