Trayne Consulting is currently recruiting an experienced Order Entry officer to work in our client’s busy office, who has a proven track record in getting through high volume of data with exceptional accuracy in a timely manner.
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, we are looking for an experienced, self-motivator who can consistently work in a high-volume role whilst being part of a collaborative and positive team culture.
The key duties of the role are as listed, but not limited to:
- Data entry of all daily orders in an accurate and timely manner whilst meeting all procedural guidelines and maintaining integrity of data at all times.
- Provide technical information to enable you to calculate costing for custom products.
- Liaise with Sales Reps in a friendly and professional manner where you will keep them updated on information relating to their customer orders
- Build strong internal relationships across the business
- Be passionate about this role, becoming a subject matter expert and broadening your knowledge on a daily basis
- Ad hoc duties which will include assisting other members of the team as required
To be considered for this role you will need to have the following:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role where you have worked in a high-volume order entry role.
- Have high attention to detail in your order entry as this will be critical to the role
- Experience working in the manufacturing industry highly regarded
- Capable of developing extensive product knowledge in a short amount of time to allow you to become a subject matter expert in this role.
- Have the enthusiasm to work in the rapidly changing and challenging manufacturing environment
- Ability to work in a calm, efficient and pro-active manner even though at times this job will be high pressured and have tight deadlines
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritise multiple jobs at the same time to ensure the smooth entry of customer orders
- Strong Microsoft office experience including Intermediate – Advanced Excel and fast and accurate data entry is a MUST
- Excellent communication skills
- "First Impression" work ethic – always having the customer's best interest at the front of your mind with every interaction
This role will see the successful candidate working Mon-Friday, 7.30 – 4.00pm or 8.00 – 4.30pm, however you must have the flexibility to stay back to ensure the days orders have been entered.
The successful candidate will need to undergo a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol test and have a clean valid police check completed within the last 6 months.
Please note our client closes down 3 weeks over the Xmas period.
