Victorian Refrigeration is a growing business in the refrigeration, air-conditioning, mechanical and electrical services industry.
An immediate opportunity exists for a well-organised and motivated Bookkeeper/ Business Administrator to join our vibrant team.
The Role
Reporting to management, your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Full management of accounts receivable including preparing invoices and applying payments in a timely manner
- Full management of accounts Payable including processing and managing the payment of suppliers in a timely manner
- Bank and cash control - monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Month end – reconciling general ledger accounts and producing an accurate Profit & Loss Statement and Balance Sheet
- Reviewing and confirming the accuracy for all Work in Progress (WIP) in terms of tracking budgets and scheduled delivery time
- Providing project and service controlling/co-ordination and support to maintain front line operations
- Assisting with follow up of all legal, accounting and front line operations
- Attending to required registrations and certifications for the sites and overall group of companies
- Taking Phone calls and sales calls from existing and prospective clients
- Process and investigate all renewals are current
- Special projects as assigned
Your Profile
- Prior administrative experience, the majority of which must have included organisation, coordination and performance of duties at a responsible level
- Minimum of a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping/ Business Administration or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent
- Must possess basic knowledge and understanding of building, engineering, and services operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong multi-tasking capabilities and time management, excellent organisational skills; i.e. filing system and record keeping
- Knowledge and experience using the Xero and Simpro software packages is a plus
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project.
- Ability and commitment to learn new material quickly and upgrade skills
