Within Aon Risk Solutions, Global & Corporate specialises in the provision of exceptional Risk Management Services to a broad portfolio of major multinational organisations, top ASX listed companies and large & complex businesses.
The primary purpose of the Project Specialist is to provide functional project support to the Global & Corporate business. This position will play a pivotal role in supporting the execution of G&C’s strategic plan and the efficient and effective delivery of projects and action plans required to achieve its goals. This role will manage initiatives supporting business improvements, client service, operational efficiency and strategic reviews.
Reporting to the divisional COO, this role will be an integral part of a high performing and professional team which drives growth and business transformation across the Global & Corporate business.
As this role will be providing cover for parental leave it will be for a 12 month period of time. Aon always pro-actively work to secure permanent employment to keep hold of good workers.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Implementation and maintenance of Client Promise and strategic account review programs across Aon, maintaining detailed scheduling of events
- Provision of management information and analytical data to inform segments around products and services, measure customer satisfaction, create better customer experience, improve retention, allow for effective business decisions and identify customer advocates to allow Aon to win more business
- Drive programs through regular liaison with wider business segments and client service teams across the country
- Develop and maintain relationships with senior individuals and provide continuous feedback on their team’s performance and how they are tracking against objectives
- The review and improvement of strategy of the operational applications available to the Global & Corporate business.
- Continual refinements and enhancement of the Global & Corporate SharePoint site to ensure alignment with business needs and requirements
To be successful in this role you will require:
- Experience in working on systemic projects and business improvement initiatives
- Proven stakeholder management skills (at all levels)
- Excellent business communication skills (verbal and written) with the capability to organise and conduct project team meetings and facilitate discussions
- Proficient Excel skills (additional knowledge of Power Pivot & Power BI is desirable but not essential)
- An understanding of SharePoint (additional knowledge of InfoPath & SharePoint Designer is desirable but not essential)
- Ability to develop management reports, analytics, dashboards as required and highly proficient in the use of standard Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote)
