This progressive provider is seeking a professional and organised administrator with experience in the Occupational Rehabilitation, DES or NDIS sector. You will be responsible for providing administration support to your Allied Health team with responsibilities relating to Occupational Rehabilitation services as well as NDIS packages and DES funding and requirements. This team has a passion for assisting those living with a disability in their pursuit to participate and contribute to community life, as well as assisting those who have sustained an injury at work return to employment. This role will suit a positive, self-directed individual with excellent administration skills (highly proficient in Microsoft Suite) high level communication with the ability to liaise with a range of people from different backgrounds.

 

The duties include:

  • High level administration assistance to professional Allied Health staff
  • General all round office support including greeting clients, phone and reception duties
  • Coordinating referrals of NDIS | DES and Occupational Rehab referrals
  • Organise and schedule consultations and meetings as required
  • Communicate and liaise with key stakeholders, services users, families, staff and advocates
  • Database and paperwork management for clients
  • Arrange service bookings through the NDIS portal + liaise with the NDIA
  • Arrange requirements for individuals such as service agreements, quotes, claims, reviews & reports.
  • Debt collection/accounts receivable for all clients

 

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills & customer service skills for effectively liaising, consulting, negotiating and resolving conflict
  • An understanding and experience with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and participant NDIS plans
  • Demonstrated ability and confidence to make sound decisions as well as organise and prioritise work flow
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, adapt to changing circumstances and maintain attention to detail.
  • High level of competency with Microsoft Office applications & the NDIS portal.
