IPA is seeking an experienced Payroll administrator to work within our clients busy payroll department in Rockhampton.
The successful candidate will be employed on a labour hire basis with IPA.
This role is working Full time Monday - Friday. Currently for 3 months but with potential for extension.
Duties:
- Assess and process basic recruitment administration and/or payroll related transactions and requests.
- Process, record and maintain data in various databases, spreadsheets and logs.
- Provide administrative support to the team including managing incoming telephone calls, mail distribution, word processing, scanning documents, using photocopiers, facsimiles and other office equipment.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service.
- Demonstrate excellent communication.
- Contribute to a team environment that promotes confidentiality, employment equity, ethical practice and workplace health and safety.
Requirements:
- Highly experienced Administration Officer with extensive data entry experience
- High level of attention to detail
- Extensive customer service skills
- Ability to identify and understand customer needs and expectations
Candidates who have experience working within Payroll or HR departments previously in similar roles will be highly regarded. As would those with a good level of understanding of awards interpretation.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a process driven role requiring high levels of attention to detail and accuracy while working in a fast paced environment.
