The Role

Reporting to the Head of IT Relationships the IT Relationships Support Officer provides support services to the IT Relationship business unit and its stakeholder community in two primary functional areas, IT Commercial Management and IT Reporting & Performance. The specific focus and required accountabilities of the roles may vary based on priority and need as defined and agreed with the Head of IT Relationships. As the successful candidate your background may include experience in the following areas: Procurement, contract administration, Executive Assistant or Team support roles.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

The ideal the IT Relationships Support Officer will be a self- starter who is proactive in their support to their team and Stakeholder requirements. Key components of the role:

  • Experience in analysing unstructured information and developing management reports is essential.
  • Experience using corporate procurement / financial systems is desirable.
  • Knowledge of ITIL is desirable.
  • Demonstrated understanding of processes, procedures and best practices as it relates to one or both of the prescribed functions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with attention to spelling, grammar and presentation.
  • Proven service-orientation and client focus within a team environment.
  • Proven ability to assess and analyse complex material (e.g. IT contracts, IT performance data, etc) with the ability to translate text and data into information and insight.
  • Good planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and operate within tight deadlines.
  • High level of aptitude for detail and accuracy (e.g. requisitions contract details).
  • Knowledge of the objectives of risk management and compliance demonstrated by prompt identification and escalation of issues relating to job function.
  • Proven ability to identify and implement continuous improvements.
  • Experience in the tools and systems relating to these functions, including Microsoft Dynamics (SRM) and Technology One, or ability to quickly acquire the knowledge to be effective in their use.
  • Additional role requirements may include analysis of trends, providing briefing notes to executives and administrative support
