Our State Govt client based approx. 5 minutes walk from Wynyard Station requires a Support Administration person within a fast paced working environment.

The Officer Service Officer provides a range of office support services to aid in the achievement of core operational business unit outcomes in a timely, reliable, safe and efficient manner.

The Facilities and Support Services Group provides facilities, accommodation and supporting services such as Tenancy assets and soft services like security, reception, mail, courier, printing and other back office support including reception relief.

Duties to be performed:

• Covering Reception Relief when required

• Organising meeting rooms (Internal / External Clients)

• Organising catering

• Ensuring that Video Conferencing has been set up and phones work within meeting rooms

• Ensuring that Kitchen facilities are operable and tidy up kitchen

• Stack Dishwashers and clean meeting rooms

• Ensuring Consumables are maintained daily - Milk / Coffee / Tea

• Ensuring Printers & Copiers are working daily & filling up with paper

• Be the go to person in relation to maintenance & upkeep for Printers

• Organise Security Access to floor and various areas of the building for visitors / contractors & service providers

• Sorting mail and distribution to internal staff

Desired skills:

• Physically fit as to possible moving of chairs and desks, boardroom walls and setting up of computer hardware

• Fast Paced Environment and should be able to think quick and be a solution provider

• Resilient to Internal clients in relation to cross booking meeting times and rooms.

• Excellent Customer Service Skills

• Excellent communication both written and verbal

• Converse with Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel

Additional Requirement:

* Also may require to go to Parramatta for emergency relief (very rare)

* Police Check is required for this position.

Hours of Work (Mon-Fri) 7am to 4pm with 1 hour lunch Break - Odd occasional trip to Parramatta covering internal relief - 2min walk from Parramatta Train Station for an Immediate start.
