Wolveridge Architects are located in Collingwood and are looking for an organised and proactive receptionist to join our team. The position would ideally suit someone junior with an interest in architecture, construction, interior design etc. This is a professional yet relaxed working environment within walking distance to the buzz of Smith St, Collingwood and a great way to get your foot in the door of the design industry.
Duties include:
- Ensure the smooth operation of the office on a daily basis
- Be the first point of contact to the practice by phone and face-to-face
- Establish a warm and friendly rapport with clients and consultants
- Provide support to the Director and Practice Manager
- Answering phone, greeting clients
- Mail management and couriers
- Ordering of office supplies and equipment
- Weekly minute taking
- Liaise with suppliers and other industry professionals and arrange in-house presentations
- Coordinating domestic travel
- Preparation of proposals and marketing materials
- Assist project teams with council applications
- General Office/ Administration support
- Social Media management (dependent on previous experience)
You will have a good working knowledge of MS Office suite and experience with Adobe creative suite would be highly regarded. Previous experience in the architectural / design industry would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
