Our Melbourne Office is looking to recruit a Homestay Host Coordinator. 

The Homestay host coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of managing the host database as well as providing support to the General Manager and Director. 

Applicants are required to possess the following skills

  • Roll up their sleeves and manage a large host database across multiple states, booking interviews and inspections and converting potential host applications to live hosts.
  • Answering host enquries, emails and providing up to date accurate information.
  • The business has an efficient software package that assist the daily running of the business, the candidate needs to be comfortable in learning the system, navigating through the functions and maximise system capability.
  • A lateral thinker that can stand back, analyse a situation and provide valuable input on best options.
  • Handle multiple projects and study tour groups where hosts are required in new areas.

  • Computer literate – MS Office Skills required
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Exceptional communication skills – verbal & written
  • Exceptional attention to detail is a must
  • Able to work autonomously (once direction is given)
  • Able to quickly adapt to a change in tasks (competing demands)
  • Taking accountability for your workload and working as a team player
  • Enthusiastic 'can-do' attitude.
  • Sense of urgency
