Our client is an industry leader in mailing solutions and is seeking several data entry operators who will be cross trained as Machine Operators to join their busy processing facility in Dandenong South.

Your primary duties will be data entry tasks alongside performing machine operation at times. The machine operation will be minimal during the shift but essential for this role. Training will be performed during the evenings for one month. You could be working days afternoons or evening thereafter so flexibility will be required.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Sorting mail and parcels both manually and machine assisted.
• Lifting parcels up to 16kg in weight.
• Operating mail processing equipment.
• Minimum of 25 WPM and 95+% accuracy
• Working within a team environment to deliver client deadlines.

To be successful for this position, you must:

• Be available for evening training for one month starting from 6pm onwards
• Have the ability to lift up to 16kg of mail on a repetitive basis.
• Ability to stand on your feet for an entire shift.
• Have a strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work various shifts.
• Demonstrate appropriate Occupational Health and Safety standards within the workplace.

You will be required to provide 100 points of ID and willing to undergo a police and D&A medical check. You will also be required to pass an alpha numeric test.
