About the role
The Operations Support Officer will provide business support and related services to the Regional Leadership Team in order to deliver quality disability supports within the NDIS. This will involve supporting the team to meet deadlines, coordinating projects, tracking correspondence and other activities.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
  • Supporting the regional team to achieve business outcomes and deliver quality disability supports within the NDIS.
  • Tracking notifications and reporting requirements to external agencies.
  • Reviewing incoming correspondence, preparing and sending outgoing correspondence.
  • Collating and reviewing data in order to prepare regular reports and ad hoc reports.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitating timely communication across local teams and providing support as required.
 
 
Skills & Experience
 
  • Experience supporting a team, including Middle and Senior Managers, in a large, national organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and monitor high volumes of correspondence and documentation.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.
  • Working knowledge of the relevant legislative and regulatory environment for areas of business responsibility.
  • Ability to relate to a range of internal and external stakeholders.
 
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
