It isn't often we work on a role that ticks the majority of boxes that an EA is looking for in a role. You have the chance to really partner with the Director of the business - be a part of the growth story, look at the business strategy, have a voice!! The duties of the role do still sit within that administration piece - presentations, meeting prep, travel and diary management, expenses, minute taking for leadership meetings, but there is a whole heap more that you can get involved with!
  
Generally supporting the Director the majority of work is on the business side, but he has a large property portfolio, so it would be assisting with that - real estate agents, inspections, contracts. On the business side, in addition to the above, there will be a big new office fit out to manage, various events to organise and trips for the leadership team and wider business. As a business with offices Australia wide, it will also be liaising with interstate administrators and utilising resources across the business. Being an amazing communicator is an absolute must!
  
The business sits within the recruitment industry - so the very nature of the beast is that it is fast moving and can be highly pressured, so you need to be strong enough to manage the changing directions of a sales based industry, and the pressures that come with that. Obviously your job isn't to recruit, but you will be the very glue in the business so a thick skin is necessary. 
  
That being said, the team culture is very team orientated. They really do celebrate the wins - fancy dinners, put put golf and annual business trips are on the list!!

You don't sweat the small stuff and don't have the "that isn't in my job description" mentality. You are organised, forward thinking and proactive in your approach to your workload.
