VERTO is an Employment, Training, Disability, Apprenticeship and Community Services provider with a difference. We are located in 32 sites including the North Coast, Central West, South West, greater Sydney and Hunter Valley regions of NSW. We have over 200 staff and trainers located across these sites. 

About the Role

VERTO is seeking a Corporate Coordinator to provide daily support to both the Corporate Services team and across all service areas of VERTO. This role will work closely with the Financial Accountant and the Management Team and will require a solid understanding of all aspects of the organisation and its operational needs. This role requires a high skill level in administrative and corporate environments; professionalism in their approach to their role and to stakeholders.  

Key responsibilities of the position

  • Provide high level administrative service and support to the Corporate office and Service areas
  • Conduct research, coordinate project work and conduct follow-up activities for the Corporate office and wider organisation
  • Review and enhance the organisations Policies and Procedures and Service Level Agreements to identify inefficiencies and optimise outcomes 
  • Monitor stock levels and order VERTO corporate stationery as required
  • Negotiate, develop and maintain a lease database of all VERTO sites
  • Coordinate, develop reports and provide solutions to infrastructure issues
  • Fleet Management
  • Maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders (internal & external)
  • Manage site WHS requirements including training, development of site specific signage and policies and conduct regular inspections
  • Conduct on site inductions for all new staff and then provide support an follow up during probation and performance reviews
  • Conduct monthly staff meetings, prepare and provide monthly report as required to the Finance and Corporate Services teams

You'll be joining VERTO's Corporate Services team. You'll be working collaboratively with management and staff across all service areas and sites in supporting VERTO's goals and business outcomes. This position will report directly to the Financial Accountant.

Key skills and attributes

  • Highly developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • High level organisational, time management, administrative and information management skills
  • Experienced in scheduling and coordination of data
  • Demonstrated experience using a range of computer applications ie MS Office Suite and database applications
  • Proactive approach to problem solving with a high level of initiative and ability to anticipate needs and requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and functions involving complexity of information and task
  • Ability to work unsupervised in a busy, dynamic business administration environment and maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information
  • Current NSW Driver's Licence and willingness to travel
  • Relevant qualifications in Business Administration or Finance will highly regarded
