About the role
We are an excavator attachment manufacturer and currently we are looking for an assistant to our sales manager to help with the daily running of the sales team at OZ Excavator Buckets manufacturing facility in Brisbane.
The chosen candidate will need to be able to work independently and be able to work with or without direct instruction.
What you would be doing
The main aspects of the position include:
- Sales of attachment parts
- Answering the phone and taking sales calls
- Establish, develop and maintain positive customer relationships
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Ensure the swift resolution of customer problems and complaints
- You will also be required to attend to office admin as and when required
The role is based on a 3 month probation period, after which, if you are the right fit for the business, the position will become permanent.
This role is a normal 38 hour working week, Monday to Friday, with reasonable overtime when required.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Professional phone manner
- Must be computer literate. Knowledge of popular Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and Xero would be beneficial but not essential
- Proven ability to build positive professional relationships with clients
- Highly motivated and target driven
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven willingness to learn and improve
- Knowledge of the construction/excavator industry would be beneficial, but not essential
