About the role and team

We have an opportunity for a Service Clerk to join our growing mailroom team in Melbourne. Working alongside six other Service Clerks, this role is to provide a high level of customer service and support to partners and employees within the firm.

Duties

  • Open, sort and distribute incoming mail
  • Coordinate and process outgoing mail
  • Attend to court filing
  • Set up meeting rooms and IT equipment for firm events and seminars
  • Booking couriers
  • Daily banking
  • Photocopying, scanning and binding documents
  • Maintain utility points and kitchens
  • Backup to reception, switchboard and facilities
  • Assist with desk setups
  • Deliver legal documents to Chambers and the Courts

Skills and experience

  • Completion of an Advanced Diploma of Business (Legal Practice) or Business Administration course
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player with flexible approach
  • Reliable with a 'can do' attitude and proactive approach
  • Strong IT skills
