The Opportunity

Lotus People are delighted to be partnering with a well-known Catholic College. They have a fantastic reputation and are seeking a friendly and dynamic Team Coordinator to join their tight-knit team on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis.

The Role

This role will see you providing support to and reporting into the Director of Admissions. You will also support the Marketing and Communications Manager with student recruitment initiatives. Depending on the time of year, you will facilitate student applications, interviews, references, admissions and other projects related to marketing the College to the community, including alumni relations, community engagement and stakeholder engagement. You will have the opportunity to work on projects and play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of the business.

Duties

  • Provide administrative support to the Director and two senior managers;
  • Coordinate open days, student expos and other college events;
  • Administer the College applications, including acting as the first point of contact for prospective student enquiries;
  • Creating and maintaining student files in conjunction with the student services officer;
  • General administration duties as required by the team
The Candidate

This is a varied and interesting role within a small but supportive team. This role will suit someone who enjoys administration and event coordination and who thrives in a collaborative team environment. In order to be considered you must have;
  • Experience in customer service, administration, and event coordination;
  • Candidates with exposure to the education sector are strongly encouraged to apply;
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a variety of tasks;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong MS Office skills including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as exposure to a CRM or databse-driven environment
