Part-time Medical Receptionist role available for an experienced candidate who has a back-ground working with a medical specialism. This role is based in Bella vista on Tuesdays and in Wahroonga Thursdays and Fridays.

This is a fast paced and rewarding environment in which the right candidate would be providing the very best in customer service for patients, using initiative when dealing with problems and providing excellent administrative support to the main doctor.

Main duties:

  • Receiving and welcoming clients to the consulting room
  • Preparation and administration of client’s medical records
  • Preparation of medical services fees and charges quotes for the client
  • Invoicing and billing to the clients
  • Receiving professional services fees and charges from the clients
  • Receiving phone calls from clients
  • Making appointments and preparing schedules for consultations
  • Directing enquires to relevant staff as needed
  • Liaising with other medical professionals and their secretaries as required
  • Preparation of medical letters to GP’s and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintaining professional presentation of consulting rooms
  • Providing personal assistance to Dr Khan.

Skills:

  • Experience working as a medical receptionist within a specialism, Obstetrician and Gynaecologist highly desired but not essential
  • Use of Genie or Shiexie
  • Ability to work within a high pressured and fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to solve problem using initiative
  • Excellent communication style with outstanding customer service
  • Proficient in all MS office packages.
