Our Australian owned manufacturing/wholesale business has a proud history of serving retail stores for over 21 years with quality products and services. We seek a friendly, bright candidate to join our customer service team in the role of Customer Service/Admin Assistant.
This full time role is a combination of customer service and administration and demands motivated candidates to perform the following duties:
- Answer and manage busy phones,
- Provide exceptional customer service,
- Receive emailed customer orders,
- Respond to customer queries including order status, stock availability and delivery ETA,
- Liaise with sales, warehouse and delivery staff,
- Quote product information and pricing to customers,
- Process customer deliveries and invoices,
- Build strong interpersonal relationships with customers,
- Be willing to work closely as part of a team.
To be successful in this role candidates must possess:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a reception/customer service role
- A clear and professional phone manner,
- First-class customer service attitude,
- Enjoy customer contact and building relationships,
- Strong verbal and written communication skills,
- Sound administration skills,
- Fast and accurate data entry,
- Strong attention to detail,
- The ability to learn and adapt quickly is essential,
- Effective time management skills with proven ability to prioritise and work to deadlines,
- Intermediate Word, Excel, Outlook and PC skills.
Experience with order/delivery/invoice processing software and/or in a Manufacturing/Warehouse environment will be favoured.
