Zenviron has been responsible for constructing major Wind and Solar Farms and is one of the leading balance of plant contractors for renewable energy projects in Australia.
About the Role:
Following continued growth and success, we are currently seeking applications from Contract Administrators for a large-scale Wind Farm Project in VICTORIA. Contract or permanent opportunities are negotiable depending on your long term plans.
Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Managing commercial and contractual aspects of tendering, negotiating, awarding and managing all subcontracts and major purchase orderS
- Providing commercial and contractual advice to the site project management team
- Compilation and preparation of site progress claims to the client and management of the process, ensuring timely payments
- Production and management of head contract variation, extension of time and latent conditions claims
- Highlighting any major commercial or contractual risks or issues to the relevant Project Managers and assisting in providing an optimum solution
- Developing and managing project cash flow
- Analysing and utilising project cost reports and cash flow forecasts as directed by the Project Manager
- Working with P6 Programmer to produce monthly claims
To be successful in this role:
- Tertiary qualified in a Business discipline, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a Legal discipline (Preferred)
- Have had previous experience within the construction/resource industry on a D&C projec
- Experience in variation to contract and extension of time claims
- Ability to understand and interpret drawings
- Sound knowledge of standard contractual procedures and protocols
- Strong written communication skills - able to prepare correspondence, reports and instructions
