The Association of Massage Therapists (AMT) is a national, not-for-profit association representing qualified Massage Therapists and Massage Therapy Students. AMT advocates vigorously on behalf of its members to advance the profile and standing of massage therapists, and promote the health benefits of massage therapy.
We require a full time Reception / Administrative Officer at our office in Ultimo. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with a small, friendly team in a busy office. Customer service and dealing with members is a pivotal part of the role so ideally you will have a warm, pleasant nature and a good sense of humour. In return, we can offer you a great working environment and some flexibility.
Specific duties include:
Reception
- Answering the phone, responding to inquiries and taking messages
- Greeting AMT members and visitors to the office
- Responding to emails
Membership
- Processing member renewals and other details in our database
- Invoicing and processing payments
- Responding to member queries
- Recording members’ continuing education activity
Office duties
- Collecting, opening and distributing mail
- Photocopying
- Filing
- Data entry
- Invoicing
The successful applicant will have:
- Good computer skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and without supervision
- Strong customer service orientation, warm friendly manner.
