Plus Fitness really is the market leader in 24/7 fitness clubs with the highest standards of operation in the industry and is a market leader. Join our Clubs team in the position of Full-Time Club (Gym) Manager – Plus Fitness Southern Suburbs.
ARE YOU? An energetic go-getter, with the ability to manage the business in all of the key areas of sales and marketing management, lead generation, operations, product management, service and people management. You must be passionate about the brand - but even more passionate about people, your team and our members! You will be 100% responsible for the clubs performance and ensuring its continued success.
What is the focus of the role?
A Plus Fitness Club Manager is expected to maximise all opportunities to drive the club to its operational capacity and to ensure every member has an outstanding experience every time they enter a Plus Fitness club. Standards, POS target and new member target is the foundation of measuring your success. As well as:
- A sparkling clean gym, working equipment (the basics!)
- Membership sales, growth and revenue targets
- Strong lead generation - marketing and sales
- Database management
- Business networking within the local community
- Maintaining high service standards - member engagement
- A strong focus on club culture
- Working within financial budgets
- Management of staff and a large team of personal trainers
- Management of a flagship Plus Fitness 24/7 Club!
What skills and qualifications do you need?
- A great attitude everyday!
- Passion for the product and people
- Exceptional communication and administrative skills
- Strong sales skills with the ability to achieve monthly targets
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel is essential along with various social media platforms
- Business management experience with a focus on performance outcomes are a must
- Previous success managing a medium to large 24/7 gym or health club is a MUST
- Minimum Certificate III & IV in Fitness
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Working with Children Check
