The Costa team are looking for an experienced Technical Support Manager. This position is a permanent full time role based at our farm in Corindi, near the NSW mid north coast town of Coffs Harbour.
About the Role
The main focus of this role is to support the Horticultural teams nationally, on horticultural issues and ensure the effective monitoring of crop operations for nutrition, irrigation, pest and disease including Integrated Pest Management, growth stages and pollination.
Other responsibilities include:
- Assist in evaluation of existing programs, plus develop and initiate activities to capture and improve crop performance and return on investment.
- Provide support and leadership to Horticulturalists where required.
- Effective maintenance of analytical databases.
- Assist in end-of-season horticultural reviews including; but not limited to, yield, quality, nutrient, pollination, pest and disease review, and continuous improvement recommendations on a national level
About You
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience in a similar role as well as:
- A Bachelor Degree in Horticulture or equivalent
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Be self-motivated and enjoy working as part of a team,
- Have excellent communication skills
