THE POSITION
Due to strong growth through the region, we are seeking a full-time Advisor based on the Darling Downs, Southern Queensland or Northern NSW. The successful candidate will build the customer base and earnings of the Precision Agriculture business through the provision of insights and actions to farmers across Southern Queensland and Northern NSW.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and manage farmer relationships and expand the customer base and earnings across Southern Queensland and Northern NSW.
- Develop and manage corporate farm, agronomy and industry relationships across Southern Queensland and Northern NSW.
- Deliver results to customers including interpretation and implementation of key actions, specifically the variable rate application of key farm inputs.
- Contribute to in-house research and development and identify opportunities to take on industry projects through your region.
- Promote the merits of the business and relevant products and services through presentation and attendance at key field days and conferences throughout the region.
- Attend training courses and industry workshops to expand your industry intelligence and broaden your network.
- Actively contribute to a culture of continuous process improvement.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Tertiary qualifications in agriculture science or agronomy
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the agricultural or agricultural service industry
- A strong knowledge of farming systems, with experience preferable in the application of precision farming technology
- Advanced computer skills, with the capability to build proficiency in spatial mapping software packages
- Exceptional time management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical approach to problem solving
- A current Australian drivers licence
REMUNERATION
A competitive remuneration package will be negotiated based on skills and experience.
