The Team Leader Arboriculture is responsible for leading Manningham's internal tree crew and external contractors to enhance and maintain and expand Manningham’s urban forest.
The ideal candidate will have:
- demonstrated experience in a supervisory role related to arboriculture, horticulture and tree maintenance.
- demonstrated experience in leading, motivating & developing employees in a team environment.
- experience in the coordination of employees and contractors, plant and materials for effective service delivery.
- a sound knowledge of arboricultural, horticultural and tree management and maintenance procedures, including the necessary plant/equipment relevant to these areas and a demonstrated ability to lead and use this knowledge in the field.
- experience and knowledge of environmental management procedures and principles.
- highly developed written and oral presentation skills, including the ability to prepare reports, management plans and correspondence.
- a commitment to customer service and continuous improvement.
