In this Brisbane based, newly created role you will be reporting to and mentored by the Quality Manager. The role’s focus is on improvement of processes from harvest to customer delivery while ensuring product complies with customer specifications and government requirement.
This role’s responsibilities include:
Complete, record and store internal audits, season quality reports, reviews of harvesting, pack house processes.
Provide technical support regarding the best practices for harvesting and postharvest handling; achieve compliance with government regulations.
Provide training in company’s quality standards end employees’ performance.
Provide technical support and training for chain partners in quality control, transport, storage and ripening of fruit.
Complete audits and reviews of chain partners’ facilities and processes.
Research the latest trends in postharvest handling, quality management and food safety.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
Tertiary education in Agricultural Science, Food Science Technology or similar.
Highly motivated and focused on professional development.
Ability and willingness to travel to regional locations to support operations teams.
Attention to detail, strong work ethic and positive attitude.
This role is suitable for a recent graduate with up to 3 years working experience.
