An excellent opportunity exists for a Northern Export Operations Coordinator, based in our vibrant Brisbane City office.
Working for a leading Australian Exporter of Livestock, the successful candidate will prepare and coordinate documentation pertaining to shipments leaving Australia.
This role offers both office bound desk duties and hands-on field work. Experience in best practice health and welfare/ animal husbandry is necessary.

The successful candidate will have:
- Experience working with cattle
- Proven skills in animal husbandry and welfare
- The capacity to work flexible hours and travel
- Strong attention to detail and capacity to ensure all paperwork complies with Industry Standards
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and to stringent timelines
- Excellent personal presentation and a positive outlook
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (EXCEL in particular)
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support the Northern Operations Manager & Northern Export Manager
- Coordinate the pre-shipment preparation of livestock and vessels
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders and liaise regularly with each to exchange information for the seamless delivery of each shipment
- Assist in the coordination of loading and discharging vessels
- Support the efficient and effective scheduling of shipping
- Conduct continuous review and improvement of procedures
- Coordinate operational accounts/FOB budgets by shipment
The successful candidate will be prepared to travel interstate at times and expected to work outside of normal hours and weekends when required.
Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
Experience in Livestock Export Operations will be highly regarded.
