Bundameer Wholesale Nursery is situated in Moorooduc on the Mornington Peninsula, we have been an established family business for 20+ years.

About your Role

As the Nursery Dispatch Supervisor, your primary responsibility is to plan and coordinate outbound deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve your delivery time frames and targets.

Your tasks will include:

• Keeping on top of of all incoming orders;
• Pick, prepare and release orders; 
• Coordinating vehicles and deliveries 
• Ensure presentation/quality of all outbound product is to company standards;
• Maintain a tidy and organised dispatch shed;
• Schedule pickups and unload trucks;
• Perform timely and accurate stock takes of plant labels etc;
• Communicate with customers and staff as required to ensure customer satisfaction; 
• Assist with new staff training;
• Operate a forklift
• Perform occasional truck deliveries where required. (manual car licence)
• Basic book keeping/admin ie. Answering Phones, creating invoices, receipting payments etc.
• All general nursery duties.

Required skills and capabilities:

• Must have previous experience in the nursery industry/ supervisor experience.
• Current Manual Drivers licence. 
• Current Forklift Licence/ (not essential)
• Display excellent communication and  interpersonal skills.
• Planning and time management skills.
• Ability to lead, coordinate and train others. 
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, capable of work under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
• Sound writing and English skills.
• Basic computer skills.
