Located at Two Wells, north of Adelaide, in South Australia, Perfection is Australia's largest glasshouse facility employing over 400 people on 35.4 hectares. With capacity to produce up to 17,000,000kgs of tomatoes annually and growing over 14 varieties, Perfection supplies around 20% of Australia's tomatoes. The site uses cutting-edge glasshouse technologies from Holland and utilises innovative packing systems
Perfection Two Wells currently has a position for an individual interested in Integrated Pest Management to join the team. Reporting to the Senior Grower this position will see you responsible for identifying pest and disease issues and applying chemicals to eliminate pest and disease.
In this role, you will be working with Chemicals, so Chemical Certification is essential. However, if you don’t have Chemical Certification but can bring strong experience and a willing attitude training can be provided.
As well as Chemical Certification, you will need the following to be successful in this role:
- At least two years’ experience working with vegetable or fruit crops;
- Good English - both written and verbal;
- Be willing and able to drive continuous safety practices;
- Be good with numbers;
- Be prepared to work weekends and additional hours as needed.
