Your role will be to successful manage, market and promote the online tool, the Diversicare Multicultural Interactive Program Solutions (MIPS) in line with Department of Health Program Guidelines, contractual obligations and Diversicare policy and procedures.
The position will involve scheduling information and education sessions with both multicultural and mainstream communities and to supervise, monitor and support the work performance and development of the MIPS team. The role will also entail developing a network of communication and links with other appropriate organisations to market the MIPS program.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Community Services, Marketing and/or IT experience at a Diploma level, and/or demonstrated equivalent skills.
- Demonstrated skill in management, marketing and a good general knowledge of the ageing process and the community care sector.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate staff to provide positive outcomes.
- Demonstrated high level computer skills including proficiency with online web based platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and put into practice quality assurance systems that meet legislative requirements.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multicultural team.
- Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the support of frail and aged people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to speak a second language would be desirable.
The successful person will also require the following:
- Hold a satisfactory National Police Check (or the ability to obtain one)
- A current Queensland Driver’s licence
- Some flexibility may be required with working hours as both local and interstate travel is a component of the role.
