Disability Services Australia (DSA) is an outstanding provider of disability services to over 2000 customers with a disability in NSW.
Disability Services Australia Complex Solutions Program supports people who have complex needs, challenging behaviour and trauma backgrounds to reach their full potential.
We are now seeking Mentors to assist a female client who lives in Wollongong. These positions are female staff only.
What will I Do as a Mentor:
These positions provide quality drop in support to assist people to live in their own home and develop relationships, networks and skills to integrate into the community. Our client requires support overnight, weekends and during the day time.
To be successful in these positions, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
• Previous experience in related role;
• Good oral and written communication skills;
• The capacity to work alone with customers with challenging behaviours including physical aggression;
• A Current Driver's Licence (Minimum Green P's) and a comprehensively insured vehicle is a requirement of this position.
