We are currently looking for people who share our values and want to become part of the HART Services’ team as casual Support Workers.
About the role
As a casual Support Worker you will be working as part of our Client Care team and responsible for providing high quality support services to older people and people with a disability across our local and regional community. Our coverage area includes Lismore, Kyogle and the Richmond Valley local government areas.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking domestic work such as vacuuming, dusting, washing, ironing, and meal preparation and cooking;
- Assisting clients with personal care activities including rehabilitative motion assistance, showering, dressing and toileting;
- Social support and transport including transporting individual clients, or groups of clients, to appointments, shopping, classes, social activities and so on.
You will need
-
Certificate III in Individual Care, Aged Care Services, Disability Services or equivalent, or expecting to complete in 2018
- Current driver’s licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
- Current NSW Working with Children Check (paid work)
