The Role:

This exciting opportunity will see you join our committed team and roster the essential services of our Clients throughout the wider Brisbane area.  Meeting the rostering needs of our Disability and Mental Health Clients, you will be responsible for rostering essential services varying from Personal Care, Home Care, Social Support and Respite.  These are the vital support services that enable our Clients to remain in their homes, maintain their independence, participate in activities and build essential life skills.  Bearing this in mind, you must be versatile, flexible and unflappable, to meet the ever changing dynamics of the role.  If you enjoy a challenge, this role is for you!

Being at the forefront of contact for the business, you are responsible for providing excellent customer service, guidance and information to meet customer needs.  The Customer Service Officer role is varied and dynamic, with great opportunities to deliver a fantastic experience to our customers every day and help make their experience a great one.

As a key part of the Nextt team in Springwood, you will be accountable for:

  • Working with the regional team to ensure Clients receive timely supports aligned to their needs and wishes
  • Scheduling supports in line with their goals and preferences
  • Responsible for seeking regular customer feedback to ensure quality end to end service experience is achieved
  • Providing exceptional customer service to Nextt customers, internal and external stakeholders through efficient, timely, accurate, compliant and friendly communication and information
  • Ensuring complaints and compliments are dealt with in an appropriate and timely manner in accordance with Nextt policies and procedures
  • Linking appropriate staff to clients for support
  • Responding to phone, email and face-to-face request for information regarding support services
  • Providing exceptional customer service to all clients and act as a professional, friendly point of contact for clients, families, employees and others
  • General office administration tasks

About you (Selection Criteria):

Success in this role will be enabled by at least 2 years experience working in a similar role and capacity as well as the demonstration of the following skills and experience:

  • Current clear Police Check
  • Current clear Working with Children Check
  • Previous experience working in Customer Service or in a service planning and service delivery
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Customer Directed Care and NDIS
  • Systems and process orientated, including prior experience using Carelink, would be advantageous
  • Strong commitment to meeting customers' needs
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Moderate to high level of computer literacy including proficiency in data entry
  • Excellent Administration, Organisational and Time Management skills
  • Commitment to enhancing the quality of life of persons with a disability
