By establishing a positive collaborative relationship with your clients, you will utilise your case management or customer service experience to assist people with disabilities to become more independent and active in community life and in assist them in their search for employment. Your passion to make a difference in someone’s life will drive you to identify and organise the supports needed to deal with issues so that our clients may achieve their employment goals.
Your enthusiasm, resilience and genuine desire to help others will be obvious in your approach to work, preferring a person-centred approach, ensuring that the goals agreed are well matched to your client and their needs. You will also work closely with local employers to find suitable employment opportunities for your clients.
Of course, there is paperwork that must be done, so you will utilise your well-developed planning and organising, administration and computer skills to ensure that you complete all compliance and case noting requirements.
A driver's licence, National Police and DCSI child-related employment screening are required on commencement.
