Quality Innovation Performance Certifications Pty Ltd (QIP Certifications) was formed to cater to the needs of Third-Party Clients seeking certifications services. QIP Certifications forms part of the Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited Group of Companies (AGPAL Group of Companies).

QIP Certifications are currently seeking expressions of interest from professionals in the disability and health sectors to assess both public and private practices against the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Persons with disability are strongly recommended to apply.

To be considered for these roles you will have:

  • Completed Lead Auditors / Auditors Course or NZQA Audit Quality Management Systems for Compliance with Quality Standards;
  • Ideally a Bachelor Degree in Human Services or other academic degree / achievement in a relevant sector;
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience working in the disability sector;
  • Police check within two years;
  • Working with children / Vulnerable Persons check (Blue Card) within three years;
  • Completed NDIS Quality and Safeguards Framework Auditor Training or is willing to complete;
  • Appropriate Disability awareness i.e. has disability or cares for a person with disability or has worked with disability for at least two years;
  • CALD, LGBTIQ and Indigenous awareness and / or training qualifications;
  • Completed at least four certification audits for a disability workplace (comprising eight days) under an audit team leader or as a team leader.

To be successful in these roles you will:

  • Be flexible with starting times and contract work;
  • Have an understanding of National Standards for Disability Services, as well as relevant quality frameworks and legislative requirements relating to the provision of services in the state / territory where the client is located;
  • Show professionalism and strong interpersonal skills, including listening and communicating appropriately with others to address conflict;
  • Have knowledge of the principles of change and change management.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting practices to identify gaps in service standards and explore opportunities for improvement;
  • Assisting practices and businesses to turn opportunities into outcomes,

And Be:

  • A key ambassador for the integrity and reputation of the NDIS Scheme, the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and QIP Certifications;
  • Acknowledged by your peers as an expert in quality assurance.
