SWIMMING POOL MANAGER
Full Time 12 Month Contract
(with possible extension)
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Swimming Pool Manager to join the Shire's Community Services team to provide long service leave cover with a possibility of extension.
The role requires someone to:
- Manage the Local Government swimming pool in accordance with all Local Government policies, procedures and all applicable acts and regulations to provide a safe and attractive environment for patrons.
- Manage the daily operation of the swimming pool and ensure water quality complies with health standards at all times.
- Assist in compiling information for use in preparing the swimming pool budget.
- Ensure routine operation and maintenance of pool equipment.
- Process all admittance charges and maintain records of attendances.
- Maintain the pool surrounds and buildings in a clean and hygienic condition at all times.
- Ensure the kiosk is well maintained and operated and kept in a neat and presentable condition.
- Provide effective supervision of all patrons and staff to ensure that the appropriate Shire by-laws and management objectives are maintained and observe behaviours and ensure that the highest standards of public safety are maintained and issues are managed in a timely manner.
