Latrobe Community Health Service (LCHS) is an established, fast growing, patient focused not for profit organisation that aims to deliver comprehensive evidence based care to the local community. LCHS is the lead agency for headspace Morwell.
An exciting opportunity is available in our Youth and Primary Prevention team of health professionals for the position of a Clinician - headspace Morwell.
Reporting to the Manager Youth and Primary Prevention Morwell, your will to be to support a new initiative to increase availability of headspace appointments to young people in schools in the Gippsland region.
headspace centres aim to create highly accessible, youth friendly, integrated service hubs that provide evidence based interventions and support to young people aged 12–25 years. headspace provides young people with access to services and community supports to assist them to develop and maintain the skills and confidence to live healthy and happy lives. headspace also engages in community awareness and seeks to develop and implement innovative programs to improve the mental health and wellbeing of young people in the Latrobe City with a visiting presence in the Baw Baw Shire.

To be successful you will need to possess the following; excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a commitment to promoting best practice standards and the provision of high quality services and sound knowledge of the functionality of providing clinical triage, intake and assessment of a youth based services and tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
