About the Role...
We are presently looking for Disability Support Workers, who have vast experience providing support and assistance to individuals with physical, developmental or cognitive disabilities.
You will be responsible for providing support with all daily activities including prompting and supporting with personal care and supporting with daily scheduled activities. Which include, community outings, domestic duties, shopping, meal preparation, medication prompts and medication administration.
You will also be supporting individuals with recreational activities, that align with their goals aspirations and interests.
Shifts are a combination of days, evenings and sleepovers.
About You...
You must have a minimum of 12 months experience in providing support to individuals within residential group homes, individual living and community options.
Experience with challenging behaviours is highly desirable, as is CPI, PART or equivalent training.
- You must also hold;
- A Valid Driver's Licence
- A recent National Police Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Medication Administration Certificate
- Working with Childrens Card
