Our community housing program aims to provide affordable housing options to eligible clients. The Tenancy Officer communicates with tenants and a diverse range of stakeholders to encourage a successful tenancy. This role includes coordinating maintenance with local tradespeople, and liaising with tenants and support workers. Routine property inspections are another aspect of the role to assist tenants to comply with their obligations. Property management skills are desirable but not essential.
You will:
- Have a high level of interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated capacity to maintain accurate records, including use of databases
- Have knowledge of the legislation relating to residential tenancies as this is a significant aspect of the role
It is essential for you to have:
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
It is desirable for you to have:
- Relevant experience, in a paid or voluntary capacity
- A Certificate IV (or above) relevant to the role
You may also need to be available for some out of hours work and travel between UCSA sites or interstate as required.
