Our client who is a large govenment client based in the Sydney CBD is looking for a Client Engagement/Project Officer to support and assist Client Engagement team and their clients in accessing government support to accelerate growth, and promoting the Jobs for NSW brand and NSW Government objectives.


Key accountabilities

  • Provide project and administrative support, including monitoring and reporting on client engagement activities, entering and maintaining the Client Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Assist the Client Engagement team to complete tasks to support the assessment of client applications and supporting client engagement activities, including collating documents and records regarding relevant issues to ensure agreed outcomes are achieved
  • Undertake basic research and analysis in assigned project and client research activities to contribute to the preparation of project briefs to support informed decision making and planning
  • Communicate with clients and relevant stakeholder representatives to provide updates regarding status updates
  • Contribute to the preparation and drafting of industry presentations and information material to promote services offered by Jobs for NSW and assist with presentations at industry and government lead events
  • Contribute to team activities and act as an initial point of contact and liaison with Communications and Engagement to ensure consistency in messaging

Ideally you will have experience using a CRM. if you have used Salesforce, this will be a bonus.
There is basic research involved (using Google). The role entails looking at previous interactions with the government department and providing project and admin support on an ad-hoc basis to a team of six. There is some basic report writing so experience in writing is an advantage.
