PENRITH LOCATION
Due to recent growth in the NDIS sector, we have multiple positions available at our Penrith site. We are currently seeking talented individuals to join our team as:
1. Full-Time Support Coordinator
In this role, you will assist our customers to build their own capacity to achieve their goals and participate more in the life of their community. As a Support Coordinator you will:
- Attend NDIA planning meetings
- Assist customers to source relevant supports
- Ensure supports are working towards customer goals
- Support customers to make informed decisions
- Work collaboratively with customers, families, providers and other stakeholders
The ideal candidate will have:
- An innovative, flexible & outcomes focused attitude/approach
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to meet KPI’s in quality customer service, billable hours & customer acquisition
- An understanding of the NDIS, disability types & support strategies
- The ability to facilitate excellent customer experiences
- The capacity to generate new business leads
2. Casual Disability Support Worker
This position will attract $24.00 - $27.00 per hour including casual loading depending on experience.
In this role, you will empower customers to build their own personal capacity, actively participate in their community and make choices to achieve their goals and dreams. We have a diverse customer range, so your responsibilities could include:
- Daily personal activities
- Life skills development
- Employment or education related activities
The ideal candidate will:
- Build rapport with customers
- Be a capacity builder – provide ‘just enough’ support so as to assist and teach, not do
- Encourage positive risk taking
- Intuitive & emotionally intelligent
- Creative & Innovative
- A champion of inclusion and participation
- Aspiration & goal-oriented
We are looking for individuals with a broad social network & community involvement, hold a driver's licence and have qualifications &/or experience in a related field/environment.
