This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of Omnicare's growing community aged and disability service. 

Omnicare is a highly regarded and innovative local community, not for profit, aged and disability provider on the Mid North Coast of NSW. The organisation is well known for best practice in community dementia care using our WISER approach, incorporating Montessori principles for dementia. The WISER Approach is also soon to be introduced across all of our disability support services.

We are looking for people who are motivated to join a progressive and dynamic organisation that places the client at the centre of everything we do.

We have the following positions available:

1) Senior Support Workers for Respite Day Centres – Full time and Part time available.

Omnicare operate five respite day centres for people living with memory loss or dementia across the Hastings and Macleay LGAs. We are seeking Senior Support Workers for each of these centres to support the day centre coordinators in the daily running of the day centre and to supervise and mentor Support Workers and volunteers to implement the person centred, strength- based Montessori Approach. We are willing to train the right people for these roles.

There are both Full time and Part time positions available based in either Port Macquarie, Kempsey, Sth West Rocks, Laurieton or Wauchope.  (SCHADS Level 3)

2) Disability Support Workers – Casual

Omnicare are looking for experienced and dedicated casual support workers that can deliver an exceptional level of care and support to our clients with disability within their homes, in groups and in the community in the Port Macquarie Hastings and Kempsey / Macleay areas.

We are seeking applicants who are reliable, flexible, have a caring and compassionate personality, and are willing to work with a wide range of people with varying needs and abilities. The successful applicants will be able to demonstrate an ability to provide a high-quality service and place the client at the centre of everything they do. A willingness and the ability to work some evenings and weekends is a necessity. (SCHADS Level 2)
