Residential Practitioners provide care for young persons using the Residential Service and are actively involved in activities such as accompanying young persons on outings, housekeeping duties such as cleaning and preparing meals and light snacks and personal care duties. Residential services are provided 365 days of the year, on a twenty-four hour staffing roster. There are clearly defined guidelines for the role and the functions are defined through established routines, methods, standards and procedures.
