About the role

We are looking for qualified Support Workers to provide Palliative Care in our Client's homes in Adelaide. In addition to Palliative Care, these rewarding roles support our clients with a range of support services including Respite, Personal Care and Domestic Assistance to enable independence, improve social connections and promote positive health and well-being in both the community and clients homes. We are ideally looking for candidates who have had experience and understand the challenges and rewards in working with clients in Palliative Care

 

As a Support Worker you will have 24/7 support from our Head Office Support Team (including clinical services), regular access to your supervisor and team meetings, attractive salary packaging options, access to an Employee Assistance program and opportunities to participate in and be rewarded through our Employee Recognition program.

 

What you bring  

  • Cert III HACC/Aged Care/Disability, Individual Support or equivalent 
  • Previous or genuine interest in supporting clients in Pallative Care
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current Drivers License, reliable insured motor vehicle and smart mobile phone/device
  • Computer literacy and access to emails/internet
  • Flexible availability to cover a range of shifts across the week including mornings, evenings, weekends and overnight shifts
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
